Day Trip Cultural Jakarta is a day trip where you can experience the culture of Jakarta. You will explore and discover the cultural of the largest city in Indonesia such as the landmark of Jakarta, Monument National (Monas), the most famous landmark, which became the symbol of the city.
As the capital of Indonesia, Jakarta is a melting pot of cultures from all ethnic groups of the country. Though Betawi people are an indigenous community of Jakarta, the city’s culture represents many languages and ethnic groups, supports differences regarding religion, traditions and linguistics. However, Jakarta is a bustling city with a rich cultural heritage, diverse culinary scene, and numerous tourist attractions.
SUNDA KELAPA – KOTA TUA – MONUMENT NATIONAL – TAMAN MINI
After breakfast you will meet and greet with our representative, then start the trip with visit Sunda Kelapa, a historic port located in the northern part of Jakarta. However, “Sunda Kelapa” means “coconut of Sunda”. Because it refers to the Sunda Kingdom, a kingdom that once existed in West Java. Next trip is Museum Fatahillah, also known as the Jakarta History Museum, is a museum located in the Old Town (Kota Tua). Though the museum has traditional clothing, tools, furniture, and other objects that give visitors a glimpse into the daily life of Jakarta’s past.
Then you will continue to Museum Wayang. Museum Wayang collection includes thousands of wayang puppets, as well as other traditional Indonesian masks and costumes. However, the wayang puppets are made of leather or animal hide and decorated with bright colors and detailed patterns. So, it makes various types of wayang puppets. Next trip you will continue to the Monument National of Jakarta, also known as Monas. However, it made of marble and bronze, and is topped by a golden flame, which represents the spirit of the Indonesian people.
Afterwards you will visit Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, a cultural theme park. Because the park is designed to showcase the cultural and traditional diversity of Indonesia. So, it features miniature replicas of traditional houses, costumes, dances, and music from Indonesia. After enjoying the tour, you will go back to your accommodation.
