Day 1. Medan – Bukit Lawang
After breakfast and check out from the hotel, our representative will pick you up. After meet and greet then we continue drive to the beautiful Lake Toba. It is the largest natural lake with its super volcano caldera in North Sumatera. This drive will take about 3 hours. After enjoying the Lake Toba, we will stop at the Sipiso-piso waterfall to make some pictures. The trip will continue to the accommodation in Bukit Lawang for check-in. This drive will also take about 3 hours.
Day 2. Bukit Lawang – Jungle trekking
After breakfast, we will start the journey for jungle trekking through the very dense of primary jungle, rich of endemic flora and fauna. During the trip, your guide will explain you the most of interesting and attractive of the jungle community as a natural forest exhibition to see the forest view, beautiful landscapes, jungle panoramic, and some of interesting kinds of mammalian, amphibian, reptilian, insectivore and beautiful butterflies. Orangutan and some kinds of greatest birds are commonly seen too, like the Rhinoceros hornbill, called (Rangkok Gading). Your lunch will be prepared by your guide, Fried Rice (Nasi Goreng).
Then late afternoon, around 04.00 p.m. we will reach the campsite. Our camp is built near to the river, so it’s nice to refresh and swim after a day of walking. While you enjoy yourself in the river, coffee, tea and biscuits will be ready to accompany your time of relaxation. After dinner, you can play some card games, make a bon fire and ginger tea will be served too as a healthy drink.
Day 3. Bukit Lawang
After a simple breakfast, the trekking will continue at 09.00 a.m. for a couple of hours to the waterfall. After spending some time at the waterfall, you will go to the start point for rafting. Then we will go down the river by tube rafting to the village. From the village you will go back to your accommodation. The rest of the day is free.
Day 4. Bukit Lawang – Medan
After breakfast and check-out, you will go back to Medan. Then we will visit Gedung London and Maimoon Palace. Afterwards, you will go to the accommodation or to Kualanamu airport.
