Trekking Rinjani – Senaru Crater
The trekking Rinjani - Senaru Crater Rim is a private 3-day trip special for the travelers who don't have much time and want to see the beauty of Mount Rinjani. You can just climb to the crater rim which will start and finish in Senaru Village. The climb to the top may not be easy but it's worth it and is widely regarded as one of the best views in the country. Within the mountain is a crescent shaped lake, the breathtaking Segara Anak which is a spiritual place. From the camping site at the crater rim, you are able to enjoy the sunset and the sunrise with spectacular views of Mount Rinjani. During this trekking you will climb about 8 hours on the first day and 5 hours to climb down on the second day.
Rinjani National Park is located on the island of Lombok, the park is popular for mountain climbs and trekking and represents an important nature reserve and water catchment area. Adjacent to the volcano is a 6-by-8.5-kilometre (3.7 by 5.3 mi) caldera, which is filled partially by the crater lake known as Segara Anak or Anak Laut (Child of the Sea), due to the color of its water, as blue as the sea and the caldera also contains hot springs.

Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up - Senaru Village
Pick up at the airport, in Senggigi, Kuta Lombok or Tetebatu.
Our driver will take you to the hotel that we have prepared in Senaru village. After check-in at the hotel, our local guide will welcome and invite you to discuss and explain your trip to Mount Rinjani. Dinner will be prepared in our office in Senaru village. After diner it is time for rest.
Day 2: Senaru Village - Senaru Crater rim
Breakfast will be served in your hotel at 7:00 AM. After breakfast, your local guide will bring you to the Mount Rinjani National Park office for registration before you can enter the area of National Park. Now it's time to start the trekking to the Senaru crater rim.
After 3 hours of hiking, it is time for a lunch break which will be prepared by your porter. While your lunch is being prepared, our guide will invite you to plant trees to protect the environment. After lunch, we continue the trip to the camping site for about 4 hours. Arrival at the camping site will be before sunset. You can enjoy the beautiful view, your diner and have a good night sleep under the sky full of stars.
Day 3: Senaru Crater - Senaru Village - Drop off
Today your guide will wake you up early in the morning to see the sunrise and enjoy the panoramic view of Mount Rinjani and Segara Anak Lake. After breakfast, we will climb down back through the same route. This trekking will take about 5 hours to the village of Senaru. On our way back, lunch will be served on a special location in the forest.
Arrived at Senaru Village, our driver will be ready to drop you off at your next destination.
