Bandung is known for its beautiful nature and landscape. Meanwhile, Pangandaran offers calm waved beaches, green canyon, water activities and spectacular sunsets.
However, Java is a geographically remarkable island, with 121 currently active volcanoes and a large number of varied and unique national parks. This, combined with a rich cultural heritage, provides any visitor with a truly fascinating and unique holiday. Meanwhile, West Java known as a productive plantation area for coffee, tea, quinine, and many other cash crops. The mountainous region of West Java is also a major producer of vegetables and decorative flowering plants.
DAY 01. BANDUNG
After breakfast you will be picked up at your accommodation and we will visit Tangkuban Perahu, 1 of the most famous volcanoes of Java that is located more than 2080 meters above sea level. Here you can enjoy the beautiful view its offers from above and make a decent of about 1 hour. Then you will have a tour of the old tea factory. After viewing the tea production process, you will go to Ciater Hot spring (the hot springs). Here you can have lunch and swim in the hot springs. Furthermore, we will visit the Floating Market, we can try different local drinks, snacks and dishes. Finally, you will transfer to the hotel for check-in.
DAY 02. BANDUNG
At 8 a.m. you will be picked up to head south from Bandung towards Ciwidey, a drive of about 2 hours. First you will visit Kawah Putih, a beautiful white/blue lake created by an eruption of the Gunung Patuha. Then you will go hiking at the tea plantations Rancabali or Citambur. Furthermore, we will take a look at Situ Patenggang where you can paddle or take a boat across the lake. Then you will go back to the hotel.
DAY 03. BANDUNG – GARUT – PANGANDARAN
After breakfast, the journey continues to Pangandaran. On the way you will visit Kampung Naga, one of the most beautiful and traditional villages of west Java. Also, during the drive, you will see many rice fields and different kinds of plants passing by. Late in the afternoon you will arrive in the fishing village of Pangandaran and go directly to the hotel for check-in.
DAY 04. PANGANDARAN
At 9 a.m., you will be picked up by scooters or by car to take a day trip in Pangandaran. You will visit various local villages. You can watch how crackers are made and of course taste the fresh crackers. Furthermore, you will get an explanation of how brown sugar is made. Then you will visit Green Valley, where you will go body rafting under the guidance of a local guide. Finally, we sail with a boat on the green water through the Green Canyon. If you wish, you can also take a dip in the water here. After the Green Canyon, you will go back to the hotel.
DAY 05. PANGANDARAN – WONOSOBO / MAGELANG / YOGYAKARTA
Today you can continue by train to Magelang or Yogyakarta or continue by car to Wonosobo.
