Open Trip Ijen – Bromo – Malang 3D/2N
The open trip Ijen – Bromo – Malang starts at Bali. It is one of the most popular tours at Java. It’s a great experience which you definitely can’t miss when you are traveling on Bali and have some time to visit Java.
However, during this trip, you will visit the Ijen Crater, located in Banyuwangi. Then you will make a trekking by night to witness the blue fire or the blue flame. Next to this you can enjoy the sunrise and its beautiful blue colored lake and panorama. Though you will also experience the beautiful sunrise from the best sun viewpoint at Bromo, discover the giant crater on foot or by riding a horse. Then at the end of this trip, we will visit the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. So, you can enjoy your time and relax at the waterfall.
* Please notice that this trip is very intense and exhausting and only suitable for people with a reasonable to a good physical condition.
DAY 1
You will be picked up by our representative, meet & greet and then start drive heading from Gilimanuk harbour. From Gilimanuk we will cross over by ferry, in just one hour, to Ketapang harbor. However, from Ketapang you will be taken to the accommodation in Licin for check-in.
However, the accommodation is provided of a local restaurant. So, you can have lunch and dinner. Then enjoy your time, take a rest and prepare yourself for the midnight tour to the Ijen Crater.
DAY 2
At midnight 01:00 the night tour starts with a ride by jeep to the foot of the Ijen crater. Then from here a local guide will escort you to the crater to witness the magical blue flame. However, after sunrise you can enjoy the wonderful blue colored lake. Because you also will see the sulfur miners who work very hard to support their families. Then after spending some time at the Ijen crater, we will hike down to the jeep and go back to the accommodation.
After a nice shower, breakfast and check-out at the accommodation, then we continue the trip with a drive heading to Ngadisari which is located at the foot of Mount Bromo. However, along the road you will see so many kinds of beautiful scenery, and lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Then arrived in Ngadisari, you will go to your accommodation for check-in.
DAY 3
Pick up at the accommodation with a jeep at 03:00. We’ll take you to the sun viewpoint Kingkong, because it is the best location at Bromo to witness the beautiful sunrise. After enjoying the sunrise, it is time to visit the Mount Bromo by jeep. Then you can walk or take a horse ride to the enormous crater. Though when you’re finished exploring Bromo, we’re going back to the accommodation for breakfast.
After breakfast, we continue our trip to Lumajang where a local guide will accompany you to the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. After spending some time at the waterfall and exploring the beautiful surrounding area, you will be dropped off at your accommodation in Malang.
