Itinerary
Jakarta & Bogor
A compact journey combining Jakarta's historic heritage with the cooler landscapes and countryside of Bogor.
Jakarta Heritage & Bogor Botanical Garden
Meet your guide and begin the journey with a visit to Sunda Kelapa, Jakarta's historic harbour, where traditional wooden phinisi vessels still operate today.
Continue to Kota Tua, the historic heart of old Batavia. Explore the area around Fatahillah Square and discover Jakarta's colonial heritage, historic buildings and museums.
After the Jakarta exploration, travel south towards Bogor. Continue with a visit to Bogor Botanical Garden, one of the city's most distinctive green spaces, with views towards the Bogor Presidential Palace.
After exploring the gardens, continue to your hotel for check-in and a relaxing evening in the cooler Bogor surroundings.
Countryside Trekking & Natural Landscapes
After breakfast, travel towards the Karang Tengah area of Sentul and meet your local trekking guide.
Follow a countryside trail through the surrounding landscape, passing plantations, rural communities and natural scenery. Depending on local conditions, the route may include a waterfall and other scenic points along the way.
Continue to a local hot spring for a relaxing break before enjoying lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, begin the return journey to Jakarta. The tour ends upon arrival at your hotel or agreed drop-off point.
City Discovery Meets Outdoor Adventure
Day 2 involves walking and trekking on natural terrain, which may become muddy or slippery after rain. The sequence and duration of outdoor activities may be adjusted according to weather, traffic and local conditions.
