Private Tour Maluku 10D/9N
Kei Islands Private Expedition
Discover the remote beauty of the Kei Islands on a 10-day private journey through pristine beaches, turquoise waters, tropical forests, waterfalls and traditional island communities.
From the crystal-clear waters of Hawang Cave and the famous white sands of Ngurbloat to the remote landscapes of Kei Besar and the traditional village of Tanimbar, this journey offers an authentic introduction to one of Indonesia's lesser-known island destinations.
Beyond the Familiar Indonesian Islands
Travel deep into the Kei Islands, where white-sand beaches, clear lagoons, tropical waterfalls and traditional villages remain far removed from Indonesia's main tourist routes. This private journey combines island hopping, nature exploration, cultural encounters and time to experience the slower rhythm of island life.
Beaches, Islands & Local Life
- Swim in the crystal-clear waters of Hawang Cave
- Experience the spectacular white sands of Ngurbloat Beach
- Explore Bair Island and Adranan Island by boat
- Discover the unique sandbar landscape of Ngurtavur
- Explore remote beaches and waterfalls on Kei Besar
- Visit Hoko Waterfall and other natural swimming spots
- Trek through the Ohoilim landscape and Hill of Kalvarist
- Experience traditional island life in Tanimbar Village
Tropical Landscapes Beyond the Crowds
The Kei Islands are defined by dramatic contrasts: brilliant white beaches, shallow turquoise lagoons, dense tropical vegetation, natural pools and remote waterfalls. The journey moves between islands by local boats, revealing a side of Maluku that remains largely untouched by mass tourism.
Life on the Remote Islands
Beyond the beaches, the journey introduces you to the communities that make the Kei Islands unique. Visit traditional villages, learn about island history and experience everyday life in places where fishing, agriculture and strong local traditions remain central to the community.
Travel Slowly, Travel Deeper
This is not a conventional resort holiday. Days are shaped by boat schedules, weather, tides and local conditions. The reward is a more personal experience of Maluku, with time to swim, walk, explore and connect with the local environment and communities.
Private, Active & Off the Beaten Path
Designed for travellers looking beyond Indonesia's established destinations, this private expedition combines comfortable private arrangements with simple local accommodation, boat journeys, swimming, snorkeling, trekking and cultural discovery.
A Remote Island Adventure
The Kei Islands are a remote destination and travel conditions can be influenced by weather, sea conditions and local boat schedules. Accommodation is simple in several locations and the journey includes boat transfers, walking and outdoor activities. Flexibility and an adventurous spirit are essential.
