Day 1. Labuan Bajo – Waerebo
Today we start the journey on Flores to the traditional village of Waerebo. After breakfast, you will go to the village where the trek to Waerebo begins. From Denge Village you will go on scooters to the starting point for the trek to Waerebo. The trekking takes about 3,5 hours through the beautiful green landscape with amazing views accompanied by a local guide. The hike leads along a narrow path through dense rain forest with various ferns, orchids and palm trees.
Upon arrival in Waerebo, you will be welcomed with a traditional welcome ceremony. You will dine and spend the night at the authentic kampung.
Day 2. Waerebo – Labuan Bajo
After a simple breakfast, you will make the trek back to the scooter stand to return to Denge Village. We will continue by car to Cancar where you will make a short climb to the viewpoint over the Spiderweb Rice fields. After the rice fields, you will make a stop at View Pelataran Komodo where you will have a beautiful view of the Komodo Islands. After enjoying the view, the driver will drop you off at the hotel/airport.
