Day 1. Arrival Sentani – Nabire – Nuburi Island
Arrival at Sentani airport of Jayapura then continue flight to Nabire. After you arrive at Nabire, we will continue the trip by boat for 2,5 hours to Nuburi Island. Then at Nuburi Island you will stay overnight in a tent.
Day 2. Nuburi Island
Today, after breakfast you can go swimming, also explore the beautiful sea life during snorkeling and watch the giant whale shark. Meanwhile, in the underwater life, there are various types of coral, fish, and other marine creatures that will make you amazed.
However, you can see hundreds of types of mollusks and hundreds of other types of fish that are very charming and may have never seen before. Even if you are lucky, you can also be accompanied by sharks, turtles and dolphins as you snorkel or swim here. We will also go fishing and our catch will be prepared for lunch and dinner.
Day 3. Nuburi Island
Today you will visit the traditional village of Kwatiksore and explore the village. The village, which is included in the Cenderawasih Bay National Park area, is also called the “Rain Village” because of its fairly frequent rainfall throughout the year.
We can also organize the ability to see the Paradise Birds early in the morning nearby the village. In the afternoon you can swim, snorkel, relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Day 4. Nuburi Island – Nabire
The morning is free. After lunch we will go back by boat to Nabire. You will go to the hotel for check-in and the remaining time is free.
Day 5. Nabire – Jayapura – Next Destination
You will go to the airport to take a flight back to Jayapura. From here, you can take a flight back home or to continue your travel to one of the other wonderful islands of Indonesia.
