The cycling route takes approximately 1.5–2 hours and follows quieter roads through the countryside. Along the way, enjoy views of rice fields, lush valleys, traditional villages, local compounds, gardens and ancient Hindu sites. The route is designed to provide an active yet enjoyable way to experience Bali's rural landscape.
Active but Accessible
The cycling experience is suitable for travellers who are comfortable riding a bicycle for approximately two hours. Comfortable sports shoes, sun protection and suitable outdoor clothing are recommended. The route may vary according to local conditions and weather.

Ubud Cycling Tour
Cycle through the quieter countryside around Ubud, combining a coffee plantation visit with traditional villages, rice fields, temples and everyday Balinese life.
Begin with a Taste of Bali
Pick-up from your hotel or villa and travel towards the cycling starting area.
Visit a local coffee plantation to see how coffee and cocoa plants are grown and learn about the traditional Balinese coffee-making process.
Enjoy a light breakfast before beginning the cycling experience.
Through Villages & Rice Fields
Start cycling along quieter back roads and village routes, away from the busier main roads.
Ride through lush green valleys, traditional Balinese villages and local residential compounds while observing everyday rural life.
Continue through rice fields, gardens and areas featuring Hindu ceremonial sites.
Along the route, discover local plants, fruits and spices while enjoying the surrounding countryside.
Relax After the Ride
Complete the cycling route and enjoy a buffet lunch at the finish point before taking some time to relax and refresh.
Mount Batur Viewpoint
An optional stop can be arranged for views of Mount Batur, Lake Batur and the surrounding hillsides before continuing to the cycling starting point. An entrance fee may apply.
Return to Your Hotel
After lunch, continue by vehicle and return to your hotel or villa, concluding the Ubud Cycling Tour.
Cycling Through Rural Bali
