Ujung Kulon 3D/2N
Ujung Kulon 3D/2N is a trip where you can experience the wildlife in Ujung Kulon. Ujung Kulon National Park located in Banten Province on the extreme south-west tip of the highly populated island of Java, has the best and most extensive lowland forest remaining on the island.
However, Ujung Kulon National Park is widely known for being home to the endangered Javan rhinos. The Javan Rhinos are known as the largest animals on Java and the second largest animals in Indonesia after the Asian Elephant. This extraordinary creature is extremely rare and barely makes its appearance noticeable. Some of the locals even regard the Javan rhino as more than a mere animal but almost like a near sacred ancient creature. Aside from the Javan Rhino, Ujung Kulon National Park is also home to many other special wildlife.
Day 1. JAKARTA – MUARA BARU – BADUL ISLAND – HANDEULUM RIVER – CIGENTER RIVER – PEUCANG ISLAND
Pick-up at Jakarta around 5 am by our representative, then proceed to Carita by private minibus. On the way, you will make a stop at the restaurant for breakfast. Then we continue to Badul Island by boat. Furthermore, at Badul Island we will explore the beautiful Badul Island and you can enjoy the view or do snorkeling activity to see beautiful coral reefs. Next, we will continue to Handeuleum Island. The island offers river experiences with forests, wildlife and wetlands in a peaceful location. Lunch will be provided on the jetty where you can enjoy the beautiful landscape.
Then we will go to Cigenter River. However, the Cigenter’s waters meanders through dense overhanging rain forest, the habitat of pythons and hornbills where crocodile and Rhino may also be seen on rare occasions. Meanwhile, the charm of this river lies in its tranquil, primeval beauty. Explore the incredible canoe activity.
Furthermore, we continue to Peucang Island. On the way, we will show you the beautiful coral reefs at Nyawaan Beach, you also can snorkel here. Then after enjoying your time, we continue to Peucang Island. After arrived and check in at the accommodation. It’s free time for you. Meanwhile, Peucang Island’s beach is superb for swimming and shallow snorkeling reefs are also found along the shore. Next to that, dinner will be provided at 7 pm.
Day 2. PEUCANG ISLAND – CIBOM – CIRAMEA BEACH – TANJUNG LAYAR – CIDAON TOUR
Breakfast at 7am, then you will go to Cibom by boat. You will do jungle trekking to Ciramea, travels through the forest to a shelter at the southern and of Ciramea Beach. Meanwhile, this sandy coastline is the egg – laying site for turtles and there are panoramic views south to the sea-stacks and headlands of the Sanghiang Sirah area.
Next, we continue to Tanjung Layar Historical Site where two previous lighthouses and staff quarters were constructed in the 1800’s. Then proceed back to Cibom where you will transfer back to Peucang Island for lunch. Furthermore, we will go to Cidaon grazing grounds, situated on the Peninsula opposite Peucang Island, this large grasslands with an observation tower are the grazing grounds for Banteng, Pigs, Monkeys, Peafowl and on very rare occasions Java Rhinoceros.
Then we will go back to the boat, enjoy the beautiful Sunset while you are sitting on the jetty, enjoy a cup of coffee, tea and fried Banana. Then cruise back to Peucang Island. Free program. Dinner will be provided.
Day 3. PEUCANG ISLAND – CITERJUN – MUARA BARU – JAKARTA HOTEL / AIRPORT
Breakfast at 7 am in the restaurant. First trip is Karang Copong, it means hollow coral. There is a coral cliff with a hole in the middle due to eroded currents. You can take a walk and enjoy the beautiful view of tropical forest.
Next, we will visit Citerjun, for snorkeling activity, explore the beautiful corals underwater Citerjun. These are the remnants of the once spectacular formations recorded by early marines that were destroyed by the Krakatau tidal waves of 1883. Furthermore, we will go back to Muara Baru by boat. Then transfer back to Jakarta.
