Morning after breakfast leave from hotel in Balikpapan by car around 06.30 a.m. and drive to Samboja about one hour. Arrive in Samboja, we will have a short briefing with local guide then you will see the few surrounding from the tower of the Orangutan at the Island. Next, we will visit the Orangutan in the Island. You will watch the Orangutan from the river side when the ranger feeding the Orangutan. Then we continue to Sun Bear Sanctuary and you can see how their life is before they released in the forest.
Furthermore, we will drive to Office tower to see the view surrounding of BOS Foundation area project. Then return to the lodge for rest and lunch. After lunch we continue drive to Bukit Bangkirai to start our short jungle trek into the rain forest about 500 meters from parking area. Along to Canopy bridge, you’ll see many of high and huge trees. Arrive in Canopy bridge, you’ll get experience how to walk up the canopy bridge about 30 meters high from the ground level.
Then drive to Mangrove center around one hour. Arrive in Mangrove center, continue board on slow boat called Klotok and explore the Mangrove Forest to see the monkey. Late in the afternoon return to your hotel.
