Day 1. Pick up – Sembalun Village
Pick-up at the airport, in Senggigi, Kuta Lombok or Tetebatu.
After the driver pick you up, our driver will take you to the hotel that we have prepared in Sembalun village. After check-in, our local guide will welcome and invite you to discuss and explain your trip to Mount Rinjani. You will get more information about it. Dinner will be prepared in our office in Sembalun village. After dinner it is time for rest. So, you will have more energy for trekking.
Day 2. Sembalun Village – Sembalun Crater rim
Breakfast will be served in the hotel at 07.00 a.m., and we leave at 08.00 a.m. to start the adventure. Your local guide will bring you first to the Mount Rinjani National Park office for registration before you can enter the area of National Park. After registration, we will start the trekking to the Sembalun crater rim.
After 3 hours of hiking, it is time for a lunch break, which will be prepared by your porter. While your lunch is being prepared, our guide will invite you to plant trees to protect the environment. Next, we will continue the trip to the camping site for about 4 hours while enjoying beautiful nature. Then you will arrive at the camp site before sunset. You can enjoy the beautiful view, your dinner and have some rest.
Day 3. Sembalun Crater – Summit – Sembalun Village – Drop off
Today your guide will wake you up at 02.00 a.m. and prepare a light breakfast for you. Before we leave to the summit, your guide will explain the trip to the top. From the campsite it will take 3 hours to climb to get to the top of Rinjani and you will get there before sunrise. You can enjoy your own victory and the beauty of Lombok Island from the highest peak of West Nusa Tenggara.
After enjoying the view and rest, you will go to the campsite for breakfast. The trekking down to the campsite will take around 2 hours, our team will prepare breakfast for you after a tiring journey. After breakfast, the ascent continues through the same path, and you will walk for 5 hours from the campsite to the village of Sembalun. Then at Sembalun Village, our driver will be ready to drop you off at your next destination.
