Village Life, Plantations & Bat Cave
At approximately 08:00, begin a three-hour village tour by traditional tuk-tuk, one of the most enjoyable ways to discover the countryside around Bukit Lawang.
Travel through rice fields and plantations before visiting local villages and observing traditional production of brown sugar, tofu and tempeh.
After lunch at a local eatery, continue to the Bat Cave for an exploration of its underground environment and bat population. Return to your accommodation afterwards and enjoy a free afternoon.

Lunch is prepared by your guide, typically including nasi goreng and fresh fruit. Around 16:00, arrive at the jungle camp where you can relax, enjoy coffee or tea and swim in the river.
Dinner is prepared around the campfire. Spend the night in a simple bamboo and plastic-shelter camp, surrounded by the sounds of the rainforest.
Morning Jungle & Traditional River Rafting
