Day 1. Pick up – Sembalun Village
Pick up at the airport, in Senggigi, Kuta Lombok or Tetebatu.
Our driver will take you to the hotel that we have prepared in Sembalun village. After check-in at the hotel, our local guide will welcome and invite you to discuss and explain your trip to Mount Rinjani. Climbing to the top is one of the most exhilarating experiences, it will be worth it, you will be prepared for the trekking. Dinner will be prepared in our office in Sembalun village. After dinner you can rest.
Day 2. Sembalun Village – Sembalun Crater rim
Breakfast will be served in your hotel at 07.00 a.m. we leave at 08.00 a.m. to start the adventure. Your local guide will bring you first to the Mount Rinjani National Park office for registration before you can enter the area of National Park. Then it’s time to start the trekking to the Sembalun crater rim.
Furthermore, after 3 hours of hiking, it is time for a lunch break which will be prepared by your porter. While your lunch is being prepared, our guide will invite you to plant trees to protect the environment. After lunch, we continue the trip to the camping site for about 4 hours. You will arrive at the camp before sunset, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset view. Then eat your dinner and have some rest.
Day 3. Sembalun Crater – Summit – Sembalun Village – Drop off
Today your guide will wake you up at 02.00 a.m. and prepare a light breakfast for you. Before we leave to the summit, your guide will explain the trip to the top. From the campsite it will take 3 hours to climb to get to the top of Rinjani and you will get there before sunrise. Enjoy your own victory and the beauty of Lombok Island from the highest peak of West Nusa Tenggara. While you climb down Rinjani offers adventurous respect scenery, waterfalls, rain forest, wildlife, and interesting culture.
The trekking down to the campsite will take around 2 hours. Our team will prepare breakfast for you after a tiring journey. After breakfast, the ascent continues through the same path, and you will walk for 5 hours from the campsite to the village of Sembalun. Arrive at Sembalun Village, our driver will be ready to drop you off to your next destination.
