A private two-day journey into the marine landscapes of Riung,
combining a relaxed arrival, a sunset experience and a full day of
island hopping, snorkeling and beach exploration.

Arrival in Riung & Sunset Experience

Arrive in Riung and transfer to your selected accommodation. After
check-in, take some time to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere
of this small coastal community in northern Flores.

In the late afternoon, depending on weather and sea conditions, enjoy
a short boat excursion towards the coastal waters around Ontoloe.
The experience can provide an opportunity to observe the famous
flying fox colony leaving the mangrove area around sunset.

Return to Riung in the evening and enjoy a relaxed evening at your
accommodation or explore the local waterfront before resting for
the following day's island-hopping adventure.

Riung → 17 Islands Marine Park

After breakfast, head to Riung harbour and board your private local
boat for a full-day exploration of the 17 Islands Marine Park.

Cruise through the island cluster and stop at selected locations for
swimming, snorkeling and beach exploration. The exact route is
determined by the boat captain according to sea conditions, wind,
currents and visibility.

Enjoy time in the water discovering tropical fish and coral reefs,
followed by a relaxed stop on one of the area's white-sand beaches.
The pace can be adjusted to allow more time for snorkeling,
swimming or simply enjoying the island environment.

Continue exploring additional islands or snorkeling locations before
returning towards Riung harbour in the afternoon.

Upon arrival at the harbour, the 17 Islands experience comes to an
end and you continue with your onward travel arrangements.

A Full Day on the Water

A typical boat day includes several island and reef stops, with
opportunities for snorkeling, swimming and beach time. The exact
number and sequence of stops are flexible and depend on the day's
marine conditions.

Your Day, Your Pace

As a private island-hopping experience, the programme can be adapted
to the group's interests and physical comfort. More time can be
allocated to snorkeling, swimming, photography or relaxing on the
beach where conditions allow.

The Sea Determines the Route

Island and snorkeling stops are selected locally according to
weather, wind, tides, currents and sea visibility. The itinerary is
therefore flexible rather than a fixed list of islands.
