Rafting and Bonding: A Thrilling Team Building Experience with Inn2Travel

This team building activity was one of the best ways to relieve stress and strengthen the bonds between our teams. On this occasion, we participated in a series of activities that were packaged into several games. These games required strategy and tactics and even got our adrenaline pumping. All of the games were designed to train teamwork and communication skills, as well as to build togetherness in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

Our trip began with departure at around 7:30 a.m. From the Inn2Travel office. Since our destination was not too far away, it only took about 20 minutes by motorcycle. The trip to the tourist destination went smoothly without any obstacles. Upon arrival, we were immediately given a warm welcome. Once that was over, the games began.

The first game we played was paintball. We were divided into two teams, the red team and the yellow team. In this game, each person on the team had their own role, so teamwork was the key to winning the match. This game also required us to be able to strategize and tactically defeat our opponents. It also forced us to make quick and accurate decisions. In addition to enhancing trust among teammates, the competitive atmosphere also made the game enjoyable and filled with laughter.

The game was won by the red team. After that, we moved on to the next game, which was playing in the river. This was the game we had been waiting for. The game was rafting, and we were also divided into two teams here. This activity tested the cohesiveness of each team. We had to work together to control the boat in the middle of the strong current. With the guide’s instructions, we learned to maintain cohesiveness, focus on overcoming obstacles, and listen to the guide’s instructions, even though we joked around a lot at the time because of the excitement we felt. Ah, we have to apologize to the guide for that. Behind that, we were amazed by these rafting guides. They were very experienced in dealing with difficulties and obstacles in the river. They even jumped into the river when our boat got stuck on rocks to pull it back on the right track.

After the thrilling rafting trip, and before returning to base camp, we got out of the boat and swam in the river. Once we had had our fill of swimming, we got out of the river and waited for the car that would take us back to base camp. We were cold and hungry at that point, haha. When our ride arrived, we hurriedly got in, and the car started moving. We chatted and joked around during the journey. One thing we noticed was that riding in that car felt like we were off-roading because it was going so fast, to the point that many of us were being thrown around, and even the coffee we were holding couldn’t be saved, haha. To make a long story short, we arrived at the base camp, and shortly after our arrival, lunch arrived, accompanied by refreshing young coconuts. We ate lunch together in a warm and cozy atmosphere.

After lunch, the next game was Flying Fox. This game really tested our courage and confidence. It was a challenge for everyone, especially those who are afraid of heights. We slid down from a height that got our adrenaline pumping. Not only that, but this game also helped us to overcome our fears and step out of our comfort zone, boosting our confidence.

After the Flying Fox game, we reached the final activity of the day. We went on an off-road adventure, traversing various extreme terrains, passing through plantations on hills with breathtakingly beautiful views, but the roads were not so beautiful. The rocky roads, steep inclines, and muddy paths made the trip very tense, exciting, and challenging. We fell here and there, got splattered with mud, and even got hit by weeds that hurt our skin, haha. However, the panic, shouts of joy, and laughter throughout the journey proved how much we enjoyed the activity, especially when we arrived at the stop, a hill where we could see the beauty of nature created by God. We could also see the city clearly from the top of the hill, accompanied by a cool breeze that was soothing. Satisfied with the experience, we continued our journey back to the base camp.

The series of activities has been completed, we hurried to clean ourselves up and prepare to return to our respective homes. Although our bodies felt tired, sore, and so on, the sense of satisfaction and enjoyment had created a sense of togetherness throughout the activities, making this experience unforgettable and very memorable. This team-building activity not only provided satisfaction, joy, and entertainment, but it also offered positive value for us as a team and as colleagues in strengthening our working relationships and team spirit. This activity proved that togetherness, communication, and cooperation can be built through enjoyable activities. This experience will certainly be a precious moment that everyone will remember.
