Arrival & Journey into Raja Ampat
Arrive in Sorong and meet your guide before transferring to the ferry harbour. Take the public ferry to Waisai, the main gateway to Raja Ampat.
After arriving in Waisai, continue by speedboat towards Arborek Island. The boat journey takes approximately one hour.
Check in to your island homestay and enjoy your first opportunity to swim or snorkel around the jetty. Meet local villagers before dinner and overnight on Arborek.
Piaynemo, Lagoons & Coral Reefs
After breakfast, travel by boat to Piaynemo and climb to the famous viewpoint overlooking the karst islands and turquoise lagoons.
Continue to Lagoon Star and then snorkel around Rufas Island, with lunch served during the island excursion.
Depending on sea conditions, an optional snorkelling stop at Melissa Garden may be possible. Return to the homestay in the afternoon and enjoy free time around the village, beach or jetty.
Wayag Island Adventure
After breakfast, depart for Wayag Island, approximately two hours by boat depending on sea conditions.
Upon arrival, begin the climb to the Wayag viewpoint. The trail is more rugged than Piaynemo and has no constructed steps, so sturdy footwear is essential. Gloves are provided for the climb.
Enjoy lunch on a white-sand beach before continuing towards Kabui Bay, known for its dramatic limestone karst formations. Continue to your island accommodation for check-in, dinner and overnight.
Sawandarek, Yenbuba & Kri Cape
After breakfast, explore the waters around Mansuar Island, including Sawandarek and Yenbuba, known for their coral reefs and marine life.
Depending on conditions, you may encounter turtles, schooling fish, giant clams and other reef species. Lunch is served at Yenbuba.
Continue to Kri Cape, another area known for its marine biodiversity. Return to the resort in the afternoon for time to relax before dinner and overnight.
Blue Magic · Frewen Wall · Five Rock
After breakfast, explore the marine sites around Blue Magic and Frewen Wall. These areas are known for colourful coral formations and rich marine biodiversity.
The original programme describes this as a diving day, with opportunities to encounter manta rays depending on conditions. Diving is optional and diving equipment is not included unless arranged separately.
Continue to Five Rock, where a small coastal cave and surrounding marine scenery provide another opportunity for exploration and photography. Return to the resort for dinner and overnight.
Freshwater Pool & Return to Sorong
After breakfast and check-out, continue by road towards Warsambin Village, approximately one hour by car.
Cross by traditional boat to reach Kalibiru, followed by a short walk of approximately 10–15 minutes. Enjoy the clear blue freshwater pool, swim or relax in the natural surroundings.
Return to Warsambin and continue to Waisai. After lunch at a local restaurant, take the afternoon ferry back to Sorong. On arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in and overnight.
Sorong Airport
After breakfast, transfer by car to Sorong Airport for your onward flight. End of the Raja Ampat Island Adventure.
