Suggested Private Sailing Route
A suggested three-day route combining Komodo wildlife, dramatic island landscapes, snorkeling and some of the most iconic locations in Komodo National Park.
Kelor, Kalong & First Island Experiences
Meet the crew in Labuan Bajo and board your private Papiton Lopi. Begin sailing into Komodo National Park with a first stop at Kelor Island for swimming and snorkeling. Continue towards the islands of the national park, with possible stops at Sebayur or nearby snorkeling locations. As the afternoon develops, sail towards Kalong Island and enjoy the changing colours of the sky around sunset before spending the night on board.
Komodo Dragons & Iconic Island Landscapes
Start the day with a visit to Komodo Island and join a ranger-led walk in search of Komodo dragons and other wildlife. Continue by boat towards Padar Island and walk to its famous viewpoint overlooking the distinctive bays and beaches. Afterwards, relax and swim at Pink Beach before continuing the cruise towards the surrounding islands.
Depending on sea conditions and the preferred route, additional snorkeling stops can be arranged around Sebayur, Siaba or other suitable locations.
Snorkeling & Farewell to the Islands
After breakfast, continue towards Taka Makassar, a small sandbar surrounded by clear turquoise water. Depending on conditions, continue to Manta Point for the possibility of encountering manta rays. Enjoy a final snorkeling stop before sailing back towards Labuan Bajo.
Arrive in Labuan Bajo and disembark from Papiton Lopi, bringing your private Komodo cruise to an end.
Your Route, Your Pace
The route above is a suggested program. Because this is a private charter, the destinations can be adjusted according to your interests. Approximately three to four destinations can be selected per day, depending on sailing time, weather and sea conditions.
