Ujung Kulon 3D/2N Special
Ujung Kulon 3D/2N Special is a special trip by using fast boat through Ujung Kulon where you can experience the wildlife. Ujung Kulon is one of 3 National Parks in Java hosting a lowland rainforest habitat.
However, Ujung Kulon National Park is widely known for being home to the endangered Javan rhinos. It also home to other wildlife creatures, including over 35 mammals as well as more than 57 rare plant species. Some of the species that are unique to Ujung Kulon National Park including Bantengs, Javan Gibbons, Muntjacs, and Langurs. There is so many islands in the park you can explore.
Itinerary
Day 1. JAKARTA - BADUI ISLAND - HANDEULEUM - CIGENTER RIVER - PEUCANG ISLAND
Pick-up at Jakarta around 5 am by our representative, then go to Carita by private car. Breakfast will be provided at the local restaurant. After breakfast we will continue to the beautiful small island “Badul Island” with a speed boat. We will explore the island and you can do snorkeling activity. Then we will continue to Handeuleum Island (Welcome Bay), you will be presented to the Ranger then experience the river with forests, wildlife, wetlands and peaceful location. Lunch will be provided on the jetty where you can enjoy the beautiful landscape.
Furthermore, we continue to Cigenter River to do canoe, it surrounded by tides and trees across the river and if the weather is nice, we can go deep into the forest. It also the habitat of pythons and hornbills. Also, crocodiles and Rhinos may be seen on rare occasions. Next, we continue to Peucang Island. After arrived and check in at the accommodation. It's free time for you. You may also swim and snorkel here, because Peucang Island’s beach is superb for swimming and shallow snorkeling reefs are also found along the shore. Next to that, dinner will be provided at 7 pm.
Day 2. PEUCANG ISLAND - CIBOM - CIRAMEA BEACH - TANJUNG LAYAR - CIDAON TOUR
Breakfast at 7 am in the restaurant while enjoying the beautiful morning at Peucang Island. Then you will go to Cibom by speed boat. During the colonial era, The Netherlands used it as an international port for Dutch merchant ships. You can see the remains of Cibom pier with brick formations and iron piles. Next, we continue to Ciramea Beach, the deep of magnificence rain forest to shelter at the southern end of Ciramea virgin beach. You can walk and explore the beautiful of Ciramea beach.
Then we continue to walk direct to Tanjung Layar, a historical site where two previous lighthouses and staff quarters were constructed in the 1800’s. In the afternoon we continue to Cidaon, the large grassland is grassing ground for wild bull, wild pig, peafowl, leopard. After exploring the beautiful Cidaon we will go back to Peucang Island. Dinner will be provided at 7 pm.
Day 3. PEUCANG ISLAND - KARANG COPONG - CITERJUN TOUR - MARINA CARITA - JAKARTA
Breakfast will be provided at 7 am at the restaurant. Then we will start the trip, first trip is to Karang Copong, it means hollow coral. There is a coral cliff with a hole in the middle due to eroded currents. You can take a walk and enjoy the beautiful view of tropical forest.
Then we continue to Citerjun, you will do snorkeling activity and explore the beautiful corals underwater Citerjun. Citerjun is the remnants of the spectacular formations recorded by early marines that were destroyed by the Krakatau tidal waves of 1883. After enjoying your time, we will go to Marina Carita by fast boat, arrival at Marina Carita is around 3 to 4 pm, then we drive back to Jakarta hotel or Jakarta International Airport.
