ITINERARY

Day 1

Arrive at Tambolaka Airport, you will be picked up by our team. Then start your journey in Sumba by visiting the Manola Traditional Village. The village is located on a hill, where people still hold a wealth of original culture and local wisdom. After enjoying your time, we will go for lunch at local restaurant and check-in at the hotel. Furthermore, we will visit the Sumba Cultural Museum. In this museum we will learn about culture while seeing many artifacts and carvings of the Sumbanese people. There is also a fabric museum. Enjoy the beauty of Mananga Aba Beach. With a long coastline and fine grains of sand, Mananga aba offers a beautiful beach that can be enjoyed until sunset. Dinner.

Day 2

After breakfast at the hotel. We will go to Weekuri Lagoon, a lagoon with the fresh water, you can swim here. Its blue clear water comes from the sea blocking by the rocks. After enjoying your time, we continue to Mandorak Beach. It is a small white sandy beach, with cliffs on both sides facing each other. It’s great to be able to capture photos along this coastline. Furthermore, we will visit Ratenggaro, it is a traditional village of Sumba Tribe. Here you will meet the locals and see the culture and their life. The village location is close to the beach, so you will enjoy the beautiful white sandy beaches as well. Then you can enjoy the sunset at Pero Beach. Drive back to Tambolaka for dinner.

Day 3

After breakfast and heck out from the hotel, we continue the journey to East Sumba. Enjoy some places on the way, you will have lunch at Waikabubak, West Sumba Regency. Dinner at the restaurant in Waingapu, East Sumba. Then you will check-in at the hotel.

Day 4

After enjoying your breakfast at the hotel, we will go to Waimarang Waterfall. It is located between high cliffs, like a private natural pool. The color of the pool is turquoise, adding to the beauty of the atmosphere. Next, we will visit Praiyawang Traditional Village. In this village we will find many traditional houses that has culture story. In front of the houses, people build Megalithic Tobstones where they buried their kings. Then we will go to Walakiri Beach, we will see some unique pygmy mangroves, a perfectly sandy bottom for walking and lines of coconut trees giving shelter. Dinner and back to hotel.

Day 5

Today we will go to Tanggedu Waterfall. It has a characteristic in the form of unique rock reliefs. Scratches from former rivers to natural sculptures around the cliffs of Tanggedu Waterfall make it one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sumba. Then we continue to savanna Puru Kambera Beach. The beach is quite wide with a stretch of white sand, the savanna can also be enjoyed, especially because of the presence of horses that roam freely. Furthermore, we will visit Prailiu Village. One of the interesting things in East Sumba is ikat weaving, at Prailiu village you can learn and see the beauty of Sumbanese weaving made by the skilled hands of Sumbanese women. Dinner.

Day 6

Today you will check out from the hotel and go to Waingapu Airport for your flight to your next destinations.
